Join the fun on Sunday afternoon, February 28 at 5:00 p.m. EST for an all-church event. You don’t have to leave your home. Designed for kids of all ages, this virtual escape room promises to be great fun! You’ll use your wits and savvy to move around, help the police solve the mystery of a missing mascot, and try to escape before the time is up. Oh, and beat the other FCC teams.
Someone has stolen the mascot costume from the South High School Vikings. The police are encouraging students, like the players, to submit their ideas of who might have stolen the mascot. There are six suspects (well, 7, but everybody treats the twin cheerleaders as one person). Your team’s mission is to review the case, search around town for clues, and deliver the solution to the police. The big game is tonight and the police would like to get the mascot back. You only have one hour!
Sign up today to join a team, as a family or group – or sign up as an individual and we’ll place you with a family or group (teams are up to 8 people). The game link will be sent out in advance of the event.
Anyone can play from any location as long as you have a computer with video, so if you are not currently in Darien or have got college kids on campus, have kids who are grown and flown who want to play, a friend nearby who might be alone, sign them up. The more the merrier!
The FIRST STEP: Sign yourself and/or your team members up using our Sign Up Genius link.
The SECOND STEP: We are asking everyone to make a donation of $5 per person to offset the cost of the event. You can send a check payable to the First Congregational Church of Darien OR FCCD (please put YG Escape Room in the memo), or you can pay online on our online giving site (choose YG Escape Room in the dropdown and enter the total for your number of players.)
