A place to chill and to be yourself
That’s what we offer our middle and high school students. A break from the high-stress, hyper-competitive culture of school and sports and college prep. And a community of peers who practice Christian love by accepting each other and supporting one another through whatever life throws at them.
Youth Group
We have two youth groups: one for students in middle school and another for those in high school. Both meet on Sunday evenings. Both have a very laid-back, ‘just be yourself’ vibe. There’s a lot of sharing. Goofing around. Eating junk food. Figuring stuff out. Figuring faith out. All while hanging with friends who’ll be there no matter what.
Confirmation
We welcome all 8th graders to participate in our year-long Confirmation program. Students wrestle with the big ideas and questions of the Christian faith, visit other religious communities to gain an appreciation for the many ways God is named and known, gain experience caring for “the least of these” by completing community service hours, and write their own personal creeds.
Youth Mission Trip
Giving back, helping others, and making a difference in the world are Christian values at the heart of our faith practice. They’re values that we’re passionate about instilling in our kids. Our summer youth mission trip is one way we work to spark a lasting, life-long love of service and outreach in our students.
You can reach out to our Director of Children and Youth Ministries, Amber Scovell, for more info about Confirmation or our youth groups.
