Memorial Day – Sunday, May 26
If you need a place to watch the cutest dang parade in the world pass by, the front church steps are a great spot: It’s shady, relaxed, and not too crowded. Some church members come out every year — a nice community tradition!
Celebration Sunday – Sunday, June 1
Celebrate First Communion and the Blessing of the Graduates in our Sunday worship service.
Darien Pride in the Park – Saturday, June 7
We had almost 75 members come out for last year’s LGBTQ Pride celebration in Tilley Pond Park. This year, let’s see if we can hit 100! This year’s event is on Saturday June 7, from 12-3pm. The church will have a table (and we always have the best table with the best stuff!), and we love having a nice crowd of members hanging out there and creating some good buzz. We always hear from attendees how meaningful they find our participation to be, so drop by for a bit and help us spread the good word about our Open and Affirming, welcoming church community. (It tends to be pretty warm; we will put up a canopy for shade, but do dress comfortably!)
Cantata for Pentecost – Sunday, June 8
