We hope that when you walk through the church doors, you’ll feel warmly welcomed. Feel like a part of the family.
We hope that during the service, something will make you smile, make you laugh, and make you think. Will speak to you. Will uplift you. Will challenge you.
And we hope that when you head home, you’ll feel steadied and readied for whatever the next busy week will bring.
During the summer months of July and August, we have one Sunday service at 9:00 a.m.
Summer is a season of sabbath rest and joy. Beach days! Picnics! No school! And things slow down around the church, too: Our choir and Sunday School teachers take July and August off. Everyone enjoys some well-deserved R+R. Our streamlined worship schedule – one 9:00 a.m. Sunday service instead of two at 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. – helps us all cherish these beautifully long, lazy days of summer. (Childcare is still available every week.)
We gather outside on the front church lawn. Kids head up to the playground. (They can come in swimsuits if they want to play in the water zone.)
Bring a beach chair and breakfast. Come in shorts. This is a low-key, laid-back time of worship!
Our 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Sunday services resume following the Labor Day holiday.
We serve communion on the first Sunday of every month. We welcome everyone to the table! At Christ’s table, all you have to be is hungry.
We also welcome everyone to join in singing out (even if off-key!) on the hymns, clapping along (even if you’re rhythmically challenged!), and – as the Bible says – “making a joyful noise” in praise of God. Make music with us!
